I am trying to create an account but it is saying that my email address / phone number is already in use?

Please ensure you have not previously created an account using your email address or mobile number, if you share a number and / or email address please use another one that is not a shared account.

Why has my email verification code not come through?

Firstly please ensure that your email address is correct, if not then please change it using the 'wrong email address' button.
If it is correct and you have not had your email verification through then please check your Spam / Junk folder of your emails as it may have gone into there.
If you still can't find it then please get in touch with the Squad in Touch support team who will be able to explore further.

Why has my mobile phone verification code not come through?

Firstly, please ensure your mobile number is correct, if it isn't correct, or you have used a landline number instead of a mobile number, then please change your number by clicking the 'wrong number?' button.
If you have used a mobile number and it is correct then please click on the 'resend code' option ensuring your mobile has signal, if your verification code has not come through within 5 minutes then please call the Squad in Touch support team using the number you signed up with.

I input the wrong email address / phone number when signing up

Log back in and go to the 'Verification' tab on the website, there you will be able to change your email address and / or phone number.

Why do I need to input my email address?

You need to input your email address for 2 reasons;

  1. To enable you to receive notifications and updates around any fixtures
  2. To verify your identity, as it is sensitive data on Squad in Touch, the school needs to ensure your identity matches the information they have on record.

What role do I need to sign up with?

Admin - Schools first user and anyone who is a senior member of staff who will be managing the background working of the schools account.
Manager - Anyone who is a senior member of staff who will be managing the background working of the schools account, however won't be managing the way in which the public website works.
Teacher - Anyone who will be involved within fixtures and will not need to manage anything within the background of Squad in Touch, also can be used for anyone who manages specific events and doesn't need to see any other events / fixtures.
Coach - For an external coach within the school, anyone who manages specific events and doesn't need to see any other events / fixtures.
Parent - If you are the parent or guardian of a student who attends the school, a student can have as many users linked to them as needed Student - Anyone who attends the school as a student.

I signed up however I can't see a calendar, just my personal details

If you have completed sign up and have sent your role request then you will need to await for the school to accept you. This is up to the schools time scale and they will have accepted you as soon as they can. If the school is set up for auto-accepting then this will happen over night, so providing your data matches the school criteria you will have access the following morning. however, if you can see a 'verification' tab when you log in then you still need to verify your phone number and email address before you can continue to send a role request.

I logged out prior to requesting access, how do I do this?

From the website; To request your role log in and go to the 'Requests' tab, from here you can click on the add request button and fill out the form, you will then need to await confirmation from your school.
From the app ; To request a role, log in t your app and go to the menu and select 'Profile', go to 'Roles' and click add a new role, fill out the form and await confirmation from your school.
Please ensure you have verified your email address and phone number before sending the role request.

What do I click when I get a warning message about notifications?

When signing up via the Squad in Touch app you will get a pop up notification that will enable you to receive notifications via the Squad in Touch app.

I clicked no when signing up to receiving notifications, however now I would like to receive them via the app

You will need to manage this via your phones internal settings
